There are three levels of interior space that provide shelter or just a place for kitties to hide. This was the main reason for purchase of this design over other designs we looked at. The lowest level of the design is perfect for a litter box although to access it for cleaning you do have to enter the catio through the larger door panel. We thought about modifying an area in the back with another door for ease of cleaning but decided it might impair the overall structural stability.

    Purcahsed Ativituvin. The preassembled parts could have been put together more snug, or cuts been more precise for the bottom pieces, but it really is acceptional when you see it as a work of art. The only thing I didn't like, is that the front door flaps do not come with it that is slightly visible in ad photos. I live in Michigan and I'm definitely going to have to figure something out for that front door for true winter weather. Which is why I gave it a 3 star on weatherproof. Otherwise, the roof is solid and good quality. The back door isn't perfect, but it works. Like the back door, and I saw one random drilled hole in the front, I imagine ventilation was in mind. I thought the front would have a similar door to the back, but based on the add photos it is hard to tell. The directions were clear and there are predrilled screw holes. You can't really miss where it all goes together following directions. Extra screws were included. The blue blanket in my pictures is an additional purchase. It is a self warming blanket also bought on Amazon. The over hang for the front door was a small challenge to get fully in place, but it all looks really good. I wouldn't go sitting on it, but it is solid. When I opened the box I could smell fresh wood right away. The mini deck isn't attached to the body of the hut, but is a nice touch. Now to find the perfect location for this new addition for my furry friend family - Sage

    At first, my young cat cried when I put him in it, and did not want to stay inside of it. It has become part of our routine now and he runs to the door to ask to go out. I put a bird feeder in the yard so he enjoys watching the birds. It is a great source of exercise for an indoor cat as he jumps up and down the levels looking around. I was hesitant spending this much on a cat enclosure but it was worth it

    Purchased from Petfit Outdoor Cat. This was easy to put together by myself in about an hour.
    The heaviest part is the roof.
    There is one white wooden strip that goes on the roof at the end. Don’t toss that part with all the styrofoam. I caught that step in the end and luckily had the box still.
    Recommend electric screwdriver, it’s a lot of screws!
    It comes mostly preassembled and the instructions are all graphical. The parts are not labeled so you do it by shape and eyeballing it with the instruction images. The screws are labeled on the package and the instruction.
    The cut holes vary in size with one being a little small but the rest are “big enough” and my cats get fun out of it.
    I added a shelf to the side so they could get onto the roof. Planning to build this up as a base unit and raise it on feet so it has more height.

    My cats love it though They took right to it. One is 3 yo and one is 16yo. They are both medium/large size cats. -
